The information on this page will help guide you through holding a garage sale in the Town of Westlock.
Garage sales do not require a permit.
We ask that signs advertising your sale are placed in accordance with the following requirements from the Land Use Bylaw:
Size: No larger than 2.2ft2
Duration: No more than 7 days prior to the sale and 2 days after the sale.
Location: Not attached to traffic signs, light poles, or trees.
Safety: Not obstructing traffic or pedestrian sight-lines.
