Welcome to the CityWide e-permitting portal, the Town of Westlock's new online application option for development and building permits.
This portal is designed to make the application process easier and more efficient, allowing you to submit and manage your applications digitally, at any time or any place.
Key Features of the Online Application System:
- Start and Save: Begin your application and save your progress to complete it at your convenience.
- Real-Time Updates: Receive status updates and automatic email notifications throughout the process.
- Document Access: View and download approved permits and stamped permit drawings.
- Centralized Management: Access and manage all your permits in one place.
To get started, you’ll need to log in or create an account. If you need assistance, a user guide is available to guide you through every step. Here's the key steps you'll need to know:
- Gather the documents you'll need to apply. This includes your application form(s) and any required checklists and drawings. Common application forms are found in the forms folder below or browse our common project pages here.
- Go to the PSD CItyWide Portal.
- Create an account or log-in to your existing account.
- Select the Town of Westlock as your municipality.
- Click on the module button for the type of application you'd like to make:PlanningBuilding PermitsDevelopment Permit
Building Permit Electrical Permit Gas Permit Plumbing Permit - Complete the fields as prompted, then upload your documents.
- Review the summary, then submit your application..
- Repeat steps 5 through 7 for all permits you'd like to apply for your project.
- Town staff will be in touch once they've reviewed your application with next steps, including payment of fees.
Alternatively, applications can still be submitted in person at the Town Office (appointment recommended) or by email to planning@westlock.ca.
