Utility Box Public Art Project
Bring Westlock's story to life - one utility box at a time.
The Town of Westlock is transforming everyday infrastructure into vibrant public art. We recently invited Alberta-based artists to submit original designs for our Utility Box Public Art Project and are currently reviewing the submissions
Selected designs will be turned into eye-catching vinyl wraps and installed on utility boxes across the community—adding colour, storytelling, and local pride to our streetscapes.
What We're Looking For:
We’re seeking original artwork that:
Celebrates Westlock’s people, places, and stories
Highlights our agricultural roots, community spirit, and local heritage
Adds vibrancy and creativity to public spaces
Whether you're an emerging or established artist, we welcome your vision.
