    Utility Box Public Art Project

Bring Westlock's story to life - one utility box at a time.

The Town of Westlock is transforming everyday infrastructure into vibrant public art. We recently invited Alberta-based artists to submit original designs for our Utility Box Public Art Project and are currently reviewing the submissions

Selected designs will be turned into eye-catching vinyl wraps and installed on utility boxes across the community—adding colour, storytelling, and local pride to our streetscapes.

    What We're Looking For:

    We’re seeking original artwork that:

    • Celebrates Westlock’s people, places, and stories

    • Highlights our agricultural roots, community spirit, and local heritage

    • Adds vibrancy and creativity to public spaces

Whether you're an emerging or established artist, we welcome your vision.
